Advanced Mediation Training

An interactive, 15 hour advanced mediation training utilizing simulations, coaching, lectures and demonstrations.

  • Practice and improve mediation techniques The course focuses on the subtleties that produce a successful mediation. From his experience as a mediator and a teacher Mr. Rosenberg has developed a dynamic, interesting and entertaining approach to facilitate learning. Participants experience extensive practice sessions with the benefit of the observation and feedback of experienced practitioners.

    Steven Rosenberg's practice is exclusively mediation of civil and family law cases and related teaching and training. He is one of six individuals selected by the American Arbitration Association to develop and serve on their first Family Law Mediation Panel in the United States and an Approved Consultant for the Academy of Family Mediators. He is an Adjunct Professor for the Law School and MBA Program at The University of San Francisco teaching Mediation, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. He was selected to provide mediation training for the California First District Court, Court of Appeal, the United States Bankruptcy Court, the San Francisco Superior Court Probate Department, the San Mateo and Contra Costa County Bar Associations, Kaiser Permanente Employees and the California and U.S. Department of Education. He has also presented trainings for the Law School at the University of Buenos Aires, Association Argentina De Arbitraje Y Mediacion, and the U.S. Postal Service. He has lectured for the California Judicial Council, the California Judges Association and the State Bar of California.

    Participants may take the complete course or just the first day or second day. An extensive set of reference materials is provided and, after completing the two day course, participants receive a formal certificate of training.
